Our Mission

At Green Grove Baptist Church, our mission is clear:
Reaching the lost, teaching the saved, and developing disciples. We strive to spread the love and teachings of Jesus Christ, empowering individuals to grow in their faith and live out their God-given purpose.

About Us & History

Welcome to Green Grove Baptist Church, a community deeply rooted in faith and committed to serving others. Founded in 1878, Green Grove has grown and thrived over the years, becoming a spiritual home for many in Elko, GA. Our church is dedicated to spreading the teachings of Jesus Christ and providing a nurturing environment for all.

Under the guidance of Pastor Derrell McIntosh, our mission is to reach the lost, teach the saved, and develop disciples. We offer a range of services and programs, including Sunday School, worship services, Bible studies, prayer meetings, and various outreach initiatives. Our youth and children’s ministries, as well as senior adult activities, ensure that every member of our community can find a place to grow and serve.
